Repairing you car doesn't have to cost a fortune if you are aware of which kind of garage to visit. The best option is to stick with trustworthy mechanics who have a proven work record - if you attempt to save a bit of cash by going with a cheaper option you might feel unhappy with the results overall. If your car has been hit by another vehicle you will not be able to fix the repairs without help. Having said that if it's a small problem you might be keen to try and troubleshoot the problem yourself. Ordinary tasks, such as changing the oil and the water reservoir are easy but repairing damages to the electrical transmission, bodywork or lights is better left to an experienced restoration expert.
