What is the IndyCar series?
The IndyCar series is one of the most popular American competitive racing events ever. It takes place within the US and across the world and culminates with the Indy 500 on Memorial Day. The competition is carried out on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana and lasts for an exciting 500 miles. The first and original Indy 500 took place in 1911 and featured racing legends Ralph Mulford and Ray Harroun.
